Project Management Consulting
Project Management Consulting is what happens before the project starts. This could involve determining what sort of project is needed, what are the parameters, the cost, the timeline etc. RFI (Request for information) is an important part of this process and in order to make informed decisions it's necessary to have similar meetings, demo's and conversations where all the same questions are asked and answered in order to make an intelligent decision.

Project Management Training
Deb has never met a software that she was unable to pick up quickly, master and then turn around and train others to use. Training is an important element of projects both for the testing phase and the go-live phase where the end user is working with the new solution everyday.
Training and testing is not an afterthought - it needs to be discussed at the very beginning of a project and even when selecting the solution. The end users are important stakeholders and it needs to be factored in. How will they work best, what is not working in the solution they are currently using. Will they be using an app on their phone or using it as a desktop solution and whether it is in their browser or lives on their computer.
Are they just entering data, or are they manipulating it, do they need to be able to provide reporting and to which other staff or departments, all questions that need to be asked and answered when selecting solutions.
When the testing group (yes, you need a testing group prior to go-live) is testing, making sure they understand what it is they need to do in order to test is paramount so that the solution can be signed off on.
Training can be provided as tailored to your needs as you like from live sessions to pre-recorded modules with different price points.

Fractional COO Services
Fractional COO (Chief Operations Officer) services are also available.
Often, the owner of a small to midsize company is the visionary and started the company to create a product or service that lights them up.
Part of running a business however, is doing the operations that are not quite so exciting - things such as:
- Human Resources - processes and procedure for hiring and firing, as well as company employee manuals.
- Building & Plant issues like leases, equipment rentals and cleaning or HVAC contractors.
- Insurance needs - Obtaining or renewing necessary insurance, evaluating from year to year what makes sense for the company.
- Financial items such as budgeting and forecasting, even though the company may employ an accountant - what to do with the cashflow statement and P & L are often not part of the accountant's job. They are often focused only on the tax aspect not the growth aspect of the business.
- Process Optimization the "how do we do it here" and "how do we make it repeatable". This is where playbooks are helpful.
- Resource Allocations - analyzing when to write off equipment, when to purchase new equipment etc.
Not only do owners not necessarily want to take on these needed tasks but paying for a full time COO with experience can be quite costly which is why the fractional model makes so much sense.

Software & Hardware Selection
Technology and IT come naturally to us and we are constantly investing in knowledge of the newest and best technologies for all types of businesses whether they are professional services, manufacturing, retail or non-profit organizations. In fact, in my role working for a nonprofit, I performed many research projects not only on new technologies but pricing and special programs for small business and non profits to level the playing field. I have an extensive network of contacts in the technology field and when you work with us that is open to you as well. Although we know a lot of different softwares and have experience with them there is always the possibility of something new on the horizon, should you want to explore a software with which we are not familiar we can learn it fairly quickly – I have yet to meet a software I could not learn, master and then teach others how to use.
Choosing new technology can be overwhelming. We don’t just recommend technology we can also help you research and decide on which one to choose and when would be the best time to implement or migrate from what you are currently using. From RFI (request for information) to narrowing down your choice to actually acting as your in-house project manager during the implementation and training on the new technology we can hold your hand throughout the process. Having been an implementation project manager for a software company I am especially good at translating your workflow to the engineers and software architects and then translating their plans back to you.
Choosing the right software and hardware is more complex than it seems. Why? Because seamless integration isn't just a perk—it's essential. With the rise of SaaS, your business must adapt to constant updates and subscriptions. This ever-evolving landscape offers both opportunities and challenges, often requiring tweaks to your existing setup. Take SSO (Single Sign-On), for example. It’s a game-changer that lets your team access all their tools with just one login. But are you prepared for the shift? Then there’s hardware. How often should you upgrade? Does uniformity drive efficiency, or should you cater to personal preferences based on roles? These decisions can define your operational efficiency and employee satisfaction. How do you ensure your tech choices keep you ahead of the curve? Let's discuss strategies that work.
